Crowpony are a Fife based collaboration between singer-songwriter Neil Brunton and musician Colin Thomson. Having first played together in the nineties they reunited two decades later to write, record and perform together. With Neil's world weary vocal and story telling lyric combined with Colin's musicianship they have created a wonderful eclectic mix of songs capturing moments in time which evoke images of both the reality of small town urban life and the everyday dreams of the common man.
Their debut EP, Mr. Christie's Monday, released in 2020 encompasses influences from every decade from the seventies to the present day charting the life of the eponymous Mr. Christie. In November 2020 they released two more original songs “Happy Birthday Billie McGhee” and “Prodigal Son”.
Their Second EP, Set Your YaYa Free, was released in November 2021 with five new songs which draw on their varied musical influences and show the continuing development of their song writing partnership.
In April 2023 they released their acclaimed third EP, the apocalyptic themed "Shotgun Monkey".

November 2024 sees the release of their fourth EP simply titled "Magnificent" with five brand new songs
